Alpha Male Motorcycle Men - Post One

Looking at my favourites list on I'm apparently going through a Motorcycle riding tattoo wearing Alpha Male/Bad Boy book faze.

In the last little while these have all been read.

Motorcycle Man (part of the Dream Man series) - Kristen Ashley

Own the Wind (Chaos #1 - Spin off series from Motorcycle Man) - Kristen Ashley

Reaper's Property (Reapers MC #1) - Joanna Wylde

Saving Dallas - Kim Jones

Undeniable Series (Undeniable , Unbeautifully) - Madeline Sheehan

All of the above are just the favourites. I've read others (Down to You - Part of the Bad Boys series - M.Leighton,) Some also don't fall under the same category as the above.
All the favourite books I've listed here are about motorcycle clubs etc (Think Sons of Anarchy) and sticking Walking Disaster in with that lot wouldn't quite cut it.

So thought I'd go through them and depending on how many posts I might start a list page so you can find my favourites easily - This is helpful when your looking for the next book. Trust me, found a great list over here which I'm slowly making my way through :).

So lets start off with Motorcycle Man

Tyra Masters has had enough drama to last a lifetime. Now, she's back on track and looking forward to her new, quiet life. Until she meets the man of her dreams. The tattooed, muscled biker plies her with tequila-and the best sex of her life. She knows it isn't the tequila and hot sex talking. He's the kind of man she's always wanted. Unfortunately, he's also her new boss . . .

Kane "Tack" Allen has a rule. He doesn't employ someone he's slept with. So when he learns he spent last night in bed with his new office manager, he quickly fires Tyra. Yet when Tyra stands up to him and fights for her job, Tack is intrigued. He tells her she can keep her job on one condition: no more sex. Ever. But as things heat up between them, Tack finds that he'll be the one breaking all the rules...

Now I liked this book for a few reasons. 1st one - Tack - He's your typical Bad Boy move through the ranks now trying to make good which I got. I liked his relationship with his kids and the way he just took care of business.

With this series I read them in the wrong order and am going back to re-read this one shortly so the penny drops with a few things (I read them 4#, 1#, 2#, 3#).

These books being part of what is known as the Dream Man series you certainly get the full "If only males actually talked and acted this way kind" of day dream going on.

“I’d had a really bad day and you hurt me.”

His hand at my jaw tensed and he kept whispering when he said, “I’ll probably do it again, Red, because I’m a man and any man can be a dick. But I won’t do it like that, not again. I know you got soft under that attitude and I’ll have a mind to that.”

I liked Tyra even if she was a bit OCD with the way she did things to begin with, she definitely grew on me. There were some parts where I wanted to knock some sense into her. I have discovered with most of the books I have read in this category that the female lead quite often will need a smack upside the head at one stage or another.

The whole club of characters were great which is a good thing since Kristen Ashley's next series is Chaos
starting off with Own the Wind and then on to Fire Inside.

At present I'm making my way through another of Kristen Ashley's books that definitely fits in this category to - Sweet Dreams (Part of her Colorado Mountain series). I'm thinking that this book is just as good :), I'm 42% the way through at the moment so I'll have to let you know if I still feel the same way at the end of the book :).
