Lick - Kylie Scott

Ok to start of with I can't stop saying this but I freaking LOVED this book!
This was one I started this morning and then unexpectedly ending up with the day off I couldn't put it down. So in between tending to sick child I was captivated by this book from start to finish. Having finished it only about 10mins ago I am gutted its finished. I want more!!!!

Ok so heres the link to goodreads for Lick by Kylie Scott for those who have shelves. This is definitely one for your TBR (To be read) if you have not already found it. Its been out since the start of the month so I feel like I've been a bit slow on getting a hold of this one. People have been raving about it on Twitter and Facebook (well the people I follow have anyway :)).

So anyway now that I've done a little rave heres the cover and synopsis for you.

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll’s favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.

I loved Evelyn and her uncertainty to begin with. I did want her to clue in a bit earlier than what she did back in the motel room but I know it's a situation a lot of us can relate to, a few to many drinks the night before and "Holy Sh*t" moments the next day of "Did I really do that" so it's understandable. Can't say as I've woken up with a huge rock on my finger after being in Vegas though and had a rock god tending to me. Guess that would be enough to send already scrambled brain into a bigger mess. I did have Katie Perry's song waking up in Vegas playing through my head during the motel. Now that I finished the book it definitely needs to be more of a rock song though :).

I loved David because seriously who isn't gonna love a rocker????
I really LOVED his interactions with Mal (Drummer from the band). It definitely had the smart ass factor that I keep talking about.

"Close the door down there and lock it," David yelled. "Don't you come up here under any circumstances. Not till I tell you it's okay. Understood?"
There was a pause then Mal yelled back. "What if there's a fire?"

Kylie has done a awesome job with this book. I'm definitely going to have to check out what else she's got for me to read (I managed to pick up her other book Room With A View the other day when it was free on Amazon - SCORE!!!, Now as I'm doing my research I see it's the middle book in her Flesh Series so looks like I've got some books to add to my TBR now to.)

Definitely put this high on your list of must read books. You'll love it!!!
