Forget Me Not - Sarah Daltry

Right so I was offered a space on this book tour. I got a bit excited as no one has ever offered me a place on a book tour before so I jumped at the chance. New experience and all of that so that brings me to right now.

I was given the book Monday afternoon last week. I started reading immediately so I could make sure I was prepared for writing my review. I figured a week should be plenty of time to cruise my way through a book. Well once I started I couldn't stop. There was no cruising through this book. I couldn't put it down.

Synopsis goes likes this - Lily had a crush on her brother's best friend, Derek for years - which led to their steamy night ten months ago in her bedroom. Now, Lily is going off to college and she and Derek are still going strong. However, when school starts, she realizes it's hard to maintain a relationship while also trying to live her own life. She and Derek find themselves falling apart and Lily has no idea where to turn.

Enter Jack. Everything about him is wrong for Lily and she knows it, but she can't stop herself from being attracted to him. When things implode with Derek, it's Jack who is there to pick up the pieces - and show Lily an entirely new set of experiences she didn't know she was missing.

Of course, Jack has his own problems and once Lily gets to know him better, she starts to wonder if she can handle all of Jack. When Derek reappears on the scene, Lily is forced to decide between two guys and herself. Can she find herself without losing the people who matter in the process?

So lets start of with Lily. She starts off a bit whiney for my liking. This is most probably the fact that I vaguely remember being maybe a wee bit similar with a couple of boyfriends back when I was 19 (Such a long time ago haha), So once she got over whining about Derek I started to like her. She came into her own by the end of the book which was cool. I don't agree with how her and Jack kicked things off behind Derek's back but everyone makes mistakes. At least Lily saw she needed to figure herself out first before she could be with either Derek or Jack which I thought was a step in the right direction.

Well Jack to me was a great character. He was the damaged hot guy that to me was good cause he was straight up and honest. Didn't mess around playing games. While he did try initially to not share some of his past with Lily he was always straight up with this is who is, take me or leave me.

Now as sweet as Derek was I wasn't sure if I was meant to like him or not. He seemed to sweet to be true and I really wanted to smack him upside the head but I'm not entirely sure why.

This book was definitely written for people ages 18+ as the sex was hot and there was a LOT of it so if you're looking for a steamy read this one is for you.

All up I gave this book 4 1/2 stars as it ticked the boxes for me.
