I love this series. I was super stoked to be able to read it. I consumed it in record time as I was dying to know what was happening with the Naomi, Turner and the others.
Lets get to the good stuff shall we.....
Synopsis - Ronnie McGuire is my target.
But I wish he wasn't.
I didn't sign up for this destruction, this pain.
In his music, I hear his soul crying out for me.
If I could, I'd run away from here and never look back because to tell you the truth, I'm terrified. There are forces weighing in on me that even I don't understand. I'm scared. Things are dangerous. This could get real ugly, real fast.
& & &
Lola Saints is a godsend.
But I wish she wasn't.
I don't know sh*t about her, but already, I'm hooked.
When she plays, I can almost imagine the ghosts of the dead are calling out to me.
If I could, I'd shed my soul and leave the pain of the past behind me. But I can't. I have to figure out if there's a way to fall in love anew and respect the old. But something else is going on, something weird. Something that tells me my tough luck might just run out real fast.
*This is NOT the last book in the series. There will be later books featuring Turner and Naomi again, and they also appear in this volume quite a bit. ;)
I couldn't get enough.
I loved these characters and all their nitty gritty. This time round though as you can see Ronnie takes centre stage. Turner and Naomi are still a major part of the book though and well nothing has changed for them. Naomi still takes no prisoners and well Turner.............He's still a ass.
This book also introduces us to Lola and gives a bit more away with what is happening with ultimate end (The whodunnit element that I referred to in my review here).
Rock and Roll is definitely the be all and end all for these people and I loved being in with their drama and then feeling what they felt on stage. I'm sure I would love to go to one of their concerts (Maybe minus the Tornado etc lol).
These books are seriously awesome and if you are into your Rock books like you know I am this series should be at the top of your list. There are no fairytale little virgin girls who need rescuing by pretty men who prance around on stage in these books though so be warned.
My only gripe which I'm sure any fan of this series will agree with me about is the cliff- hanger. Yes C.M Stunich did it again. I'm actually cool with it this time though as I know there are not many days till Bad Day comes out (1st of December - 11 Days).
Speaking of Bad Day, Have you seen the cover?
Lots to look forward to. Bring on the 1st.
