Ok so I'm dying to rave about these books so I'm just going to jump right in.
The Edge of Never
Synopsis - Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.
Determined not to dwell on the negative and push forward, Camryn is set to move in with her best friend and plans to start a new job. But after an unexpected night at the hottest club in downtown North Carolina, she makes the ultimate decision to leave the only life she’s ever known, far behind.
With a purse, a cell phone and a small bag with a few necessities, Camryn, with absolutely no direction or purpose boards a Greyhound bus alone and sets out to find herself. What she finds is a guy named Andrew Parrish, someone not so very different from her and who harbors his own dark secrets. But Camryn swore never to let down her walls again. And she vowed never to fall in love.
But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she’d do. He shows her what it’s really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew’s dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?
Wow if I can meet a Heroine I can relate to it's Camryn. I love her. It also helps she' meets the super hot Andrew.
My love for Camryn and all she's been through is such a personal story for me that I related instantly. The difference between her and me? She is definitely the brave one. Jumping on a bus and just letting her take her where it goes. I wish I was that brave at 20yrs. So since I'm not brave I lived through her in this book.
Now Andrew, I loved his sense of spontaneity and his sense of humor. How he was protective and at times dominating of Camryn but only when he knew they were both on the same page. He wasn't over the top with these feelings and let her (as well as helping at times) experience things she needed to.
I loved the fact that this book wasn't a cliff hanger but the second book felt natural and not forced.
The second book again hit close to home and without spoiling things I felt the pain in this book and at times I needed a big box of tissues.
The Edge of Always
I'm not posting the synopsis for this book because I don't want to spoil the outcome from the first book (Mainly I just wanted to post the cover because the guy on the cover is HOT!!!)
I have been so fortunate lately with the books I've chosen to read lately and I know I keep tell you to read this book and read that book. I still stand by all of those as well as saying to you that these books are awesome and so so gorgeous.
