Facing Me (Shaft on Tour #2) - Cat Mason

So after reading Escaping Me I became a big fan of this series. When the opportunity came up to jump on board for Facing Me Blog tour I jumped right on board.

Facing Me

Synopsis - “Everyone has a story my pages are just a lot darker than most.”
Aiden Chesterfield needs control like he needs to breathe. It pushes back the dark past he tries to pretend doesn’t exist. Just as badly as he needs the structure that domination provides, he needs Camaron to be the one to submit to him. Though, when Aiden realizes how unworthy she feels of his love; he sends her away. Her insecurities anger him, but break him at the same time. Forcing him to come to the realization that her emotions are one thing he cannot control.
Camaron Allen left everything to start her life over in Vegas with hopes of finding family. After losing the man she loves because of her insecurities she’s determined to become stronger. When a phone call from her best friend has her taking on a new career, she is forced to face more than herself. Shaft is hitting the big time and everyone wants a piece of the rockers’ pie; and some are willing to do anything to get it. Will Cam and Aiden be able to move beyond their fears and face the possibility of a future, together? Or will they forever fight their demons alone?

We met Aiden and Camaron back in Escaping Me. This book covers what happens with these two after the events that happened while Shaft has been on tour.

I was a fan of these two from the last book so this book was awesome with being able see what was going on in their heads.
Watching these Aiden and Cam struggle without each other was extremely sad. It was quite clear they were not whole. I spent the first part of the book wanting to knock their heads together and tell them to snap out of it and just be together. Once the circumstances bring them back to where they are at least in the same city things start heating up. It was definitely fun to watch Camaron show Aiden that she does know what she wants and that she's not broken.

Of course this book lets us catch up with the rest of my favourite Shaft people - Daisy, Grayson and Hunter.
Hunter is still living up to his nickname of Cunter and Daisy and Grayson are still absolutely adorable.

Oooo with talk of Hunter, I did find a picture that reminded me instantly of him. My husband found it on April Fools day and I couldn't resist saving it to add to my post for this blog tour. Now before you start to wonder about the sanity of Jim Beam, my husband enquired on whether this was actually the real deal and apparently it's not. I can hear Hunter's heart breaking from here lol.
